Looks descomplicados são a minha praia, não importa a situação ou o dia da semana. Abuso dos básicos e gosto de usar peças confortáveis. No verão então, não há como fugir a esta regra. Tem que ser confortável e fresco, para não derreter. A sugestão de hoje é isso mesmo: um look fresco e leve, que usei num dos últimos fins de semana, e o qual vou continuar a repetir porque adoro esta saia!

Uncomplicated looks are my thing, no matter the situation or the day of the week. I wear basics a lot and I like to wear comfortable pieces. In the summer specially, there is no escape from this rule. My outfits have to be comfortable and fresh, so I won't melt. Today's suggestion is precisely that: a fresh and light look, which I wore a few weekends ago, and which I will continue to repeat because I love this skirt!

A Femme Luxe tem sido a estrela dos últimos looks porque, honestamente, tenho feito lá descobertas fantásticas. Pode parecer um pouco contraditório (porque estou a mostrar algumas peças novas), mas tenho feito cada vez menos compras e, quando as faço, tento que sejam o mais conscientes possíveis (se puderem apoiar marcas sustentáveis e éticas, melhor). E se há coisa que detesto, é ter peças paradas em casa. Costumo doar algumas e, muitas ponho à venda por preços simbólicos na app Depop (podem espreitar aqui o meu perfil), conhecem?

Sempre que vejo que determinadas peças de roupa estão há demasiado tempo paradas no meu armário, faço uma bela vistoria e seleciono algumas para doar/vender. O armário fica mais leve, e a cabeça também!

Femme Luxe has been the star of my latest looks because, honestly, I've been making fantastic discoveries there. It may seem a bit contradictory (because I am showing some new pieces), but I have been shopping less and less and when I do I try to make them as conscious as possible (if you can support sustainable and ethical brands, the better). And if there's one thing I hate, is owning clothes I don't wear. I usually donate some and many I put up for sale for symbolic prices on Depop (you can check out my profile here), do you know this app?

Whenever I see that certain pieces of clothing have been standing in my closet for too long, I do a nice search and select some to donate or sell. The closet gets lighter, and my head too!

Faço isto com alguma frequência (falei disto o ano passado, aqui no blog) e, recentemente consegui influenciar a minha mãe a fazer o mesmo. Acreditem que não foi fácil! Às vezes não conseguimos ver a quantidade absurda de coisas que temos, até começarmos a ver roupa acumulada por todo o lado. Prefiro ter pouca, mas à qual realmente dou uso. // I do this quite often (I talked about it last year here on the blog) and recently managed to influence my mom to do the same. Believe me, it was not easy! Sometimes we can't see the absurd amount of stuff we own until we start seeing accumulated clothing everywhere. I prefer to have little, but things that I actually wear.

Agora falando em biquínis. O meu gato tem um problema e eu tenho outro (confiar nele). É raro o biquíni/fato de banho que eu tenha, que não possua uma marca dele (dentes/unhas). No sei se é do material, textura, whatever, o gato adora roer fatos de banho! Isto é normal? Lol. Já não arrisco deixar a porta do armário aberta (ele consegue enfiar-se nas gavetas e puxá-los). 

E pronto, é esta a minha justificação para ocasionalmente encomendar alguns biquínis novos. 😂 Este tem um padrão floral lindíssimo (sei que não se vê muito bem nas fotos, podem ver melhor aqui), e é da Dresslily.

Now speaking of bikinis. My cat has a problem and I have another (to trust him). Almost all the swimsuits that I own have a mark on it (teeth/nails). I don't know if it's the material, texture, whatever, but the cat loves to chew on swimsuits! Is this normal? Lol. I no longer risk leaving the closet door open (he can reach into the drawers and pull them out).

And that's my justification for occasionally ordering some new bikinis. 😂 This one has a beautiful floral pattern (I know you don't see it very well in the photos, you can see it better here), and it's from Dresslily. This beautiful paradise is in the center of Portugal (it's called Aldeia do Mato).
