In recent months I have had the pleasure of trying and using the face cream as well as a moisturizing mist. Today I share in detail my experience, as well as the information of each product. O meu primeiro contacto com a Mad Hippie foi muito positivo (ler toda a experiência aqui), e confesso que este creme de rosto era um dos produtos que mais interesse suscitou-me. Na verdade, todos os produtos da marca são extremamente atrativos, depois de ler as suas descrições, usos, ingredientes e benefícios.

A minha experiência com o Face Cream

O conceito de "all skin types" assusta-me um pouco, admito. No entanto, consigo compreender que este creme se adapte à maioria das peles. Talvez as mais secas necessitem de algo um pouco mais nutritivo, mas a minha experiência foi fantástica. Sim, porque infelizmente já o terminei (este post é que demorou a chegar!).

O Face Cream é extremamente suave e delicado na pele. Tenho acne recorrente e pele mista (como já mencionei em posts anteriores) e não tive nenhuma reação negativa com este creme. Muito pelo contrário, senti que acalmava e suavizava imenso a pele. Já para não falar do seu cheiro frutado e igualmente suave. Não consigo comprovar se realmente reduz a aparência das rugas, mas continuo a enfatizar que se trata de um creme extremamente suavizante, pelo que acredito que melhore visivelmente a tez a longo prazo. Além disso, está recheado de ingredientes antioxidantes (como grande parte dos produtos da marca) com propriedades rejuvenescentes.

My first contact with Mad Hippie was very positive (read the whole experience here), and I confess that this face cream was one of the products that most interested me. In fact, all the brand's products are extremely attractive, after reading their descriptions, uses, ingredients and benefits.

The concept of "all skin types" scares me a bit, I'll admit. However, I can understand that this cream suits most skins. Maybe the drier type need something a little more nutritious, but my experience was fantastic. Yes, because unfortunately I already finished it (this post is a bit late!).

The face cream is extremely soft and delicate on the skin. I have recurring acne and combination skin (as I mentioned in previous posts) and have not had any negative reaction with this cream. On the contrary, I felt that it soothes my skin. Not to mention its fruity and equally smooth scent. I can not tell if it actually reduces the appearance of wrinkles, but I continue to emphasize that it is an extremely softening cream, so I believe it visibly improves the complexion in a long run. Besides, it is packed with antioxidant ingredients (like most their products) with rejuvenating properties.

Uses: Hydrating - Brighten - Reduce Appearance of Discoloration

Tal como o creme de rosto, o Hydrating Nutrient Mist tem propriedades antioxidantes. O seu objetivo principal é hidratar e minimizar a aparência de danos solares. Apesar de ser um spray, não é o tipo de mist que pulverizamos no rosto como uma água termal ou um spray fixador. O modo de aplicação passa por pulverizar um pouco na mão e massajar no rosto, peito, ou qualquer outra zona danificada pelo sol (para ajudar a cicatrizar e não como uma alternativa ao protetor solar).

A minha experiência com o Hydrating Nutrient Mist

As minhas imperfeições não se devem tanto a questões solares, mas sim a acne (uso sempre proteção solar!). No entanto, uso este nutrient mist como uma espécie de sérum/essência, antes de aplicar o meu creme diário e protetor solar. Isto porque, apesar de ser extremamente liquido, sente-se perfeitamente o quão hidratante é. Já estou a usá-lo há imenso tempo e a verdade é que a embalagem ainda continua quase cheia (basta usar um pouquinho). É extremamente calmante, perfeito também para acalmar vermelhidão e irritações. Essa é talvez a minha função favorita, acalma-me imenso a pele quando está mais sensível.

O Hydrating Nutrient Mist é um mix de antioxidantes e essências hidratantes.

Like the face cream, the Hydrating Nutrient Mist has antioxidant properties. Its main purpose is to moisturize and minimize the appearance of photo damage. Although it is a spray, it is not the kind of mist that we spray on the face like a thermal water or a fixing spray. The method of application is to spray a little on the hand and massage on the face, chest, or any other area damaged by the sun (to help heal and not as an alternative to sunscreen).

My imperfections are mostly not due to solar issues, but to acne (I always use sunscreen!). However, I use this nutrient mist as a sort of serum/essence, before applying my daily moisturizing and sunscreen. Despite being extremely liquid, it feels really moisturizing. I've been using it for a few months now, and the truth is that the packaging is still almost full (you just need a bit). It is extremely soothing, perfect also to calm redness and irritations. This is perhaps my favorite function, it calms my skin a lot when it is more sensitive.

A preocupação ambiental

Para além desta preocupação em utilizar apenas ingredientes com verdadeiros benefícios, a Mad Hippie tem uma preocupação ambiental louvável. Procuram reduzir a sua pegada de carbono e o impacto no meio ambiente — mudaram recentemente as suas embalagens para BPA-free, imprimem tudo com tinta de soja, e têm instalações que funcionam com energia alternativa. / In addition to this concern in using only ingredients with real benefits, Mad Hippie has a huge environmental concern. They seek to reduce their carbon footprint and impact on the environment - they have recently changed their packaging to BPA-free, print everything with soy ink, and have alternate-energy facilities.
