Assim que decidi fotografar este look só pensava numa coisa: falar das minhas novas sapatilhas made in Portugal feitas com materiais eco-friendly e biodegradáveis. Totalmente not sponsored! Adoro calçado e sou meio sneaker addict, mas estou cada vez mais consciente e sou muito seletiva na hora de comprar. Assim que tive conhecimento do projeto no indiegogo, mostrei ao meu namorado (que ainda é mais seletivo que eu, quando é para comprar roupa/calçado) e depressa decidimos comprar o bundle especial de 2 pares, a um preço incrível (fiquei rapidamente convencida, na verdade). Esse bundle já não está disponível porque a marca foi finalmente lançada no mercado, mas podem comprar individualmente, claro.

WAYZ - ETHICAL SNEAKERS MADE WITH PASSION

I love shoes and I'm a bit of a sneaker addict, but I'm increasingly aware and very selective when buying. As soon as I was aware of the project on indiegogo, I showed it to my boyfriend (who is even more selective than me when buying clothes & shoes) and soon decided to buy the special 2 pair bundle at an incredible price (I was quickly convinced, actually). This bundle is no longer available because the brand was finally launched, but you can buy it individually, of course.

Escolhi o modelo The Sonder SND04 “White Grey Almond Milk”, apesar de também adorar a versão “White Green Almond Milk”, com pormenores a verde. Não é fácil escolher, porque a Wayz criou modelos super apelativos. A qualidade e o conforto são inegáveis!

A única questão que me dividiu na hora da compra foi o uso de leather nas sapatilhas — já há algum tempo que fujo a calçado (e roupa em geral) com pele (o que nem sempre é fácil). Aquilo que me convenceu foi perceber que o bio-leather hipoalergénico usado pela Wayz no fabrico do seu calçado provém de países europeus como Portugal, Espanha e Alemanha, e, o mais importante: sempre como resultado do desperdício da indústria da carne. Percebo que esta questão possa dividir muitas pessoas, especialmente para quem vive um estilo de vida vegan.

I chose The Sonder SND04 “White Gray Almond Milk”, although I also love the “White Green Almond Milk” version with green accents. It's not easy to choose, because Wayz has created super appealing models. It's impossible to deny the comfort and quality!

The only issue that divided me at the time of purchase was the use of leather in the sneakers - I have been avoiding shoes (and clothing in general) with leather for a while (which is not always easy). What really convinced me was that the hypoallergenic bio-leather used by Wayz in the manufacture of its footwear comes from European countries such as Portugal, Spain and Germany, and most importantly, always as a result of the meat industry waste. I realize that this issue can divide many people, especially for those who live a vegan lifestyle.

O look é extremamente simples e casual, perfeito para o dia a dia. Tanto o casaco como a sweater são da Femme Luxe. Casacos camel e longos nunca desiludem e ficam sempre bem. Tinha algum receio que este fosse demasiado grande para mim (sou bem baixinha), mas confesso que gosto de como assenta. “Casacos robe” são sempre bem-vindos. Comfy & cute.

The look is extremely simple and casual, perfect for everyday wear. Both the long coat and sweater are from Femme Luxe. Camel long coats never disappoint and always look good. I was afraid this would be too big for me (I'm quite short), but I must say I like how it fits. Coats that look like robes are always welcome. Comfy & cute.
