É tão importante utilizar proteção solar diariamente. Ainda assim, sinto que uma grande percentagem das pessoas continua a não dar a devida atenção e importância a algo tão simples quanto isto — proteger a pele contra a radiação UVA e UVB! Estou neste momento a usar as duas novidades solares da COSRX e, quero também partilhar duas marcas coreanas “novas” (para mim): a Aromatica e a Skin&Lab — ambas cruelty-free (tal como a COSRX).

I am currently using COSRX's two new sunscreens, and I also want to share two "new" (for me) Korean brands: Aromatica and Skin&Lab - both cruelty-free (such as COSRX).
O post não é todo acerca de proteção solar, mas quero dar um ênfase especial a estas novidades da COSRX. O meu protetor solar de rosto anterior era da mesma marca, o Aloe Soothing Sun Cream — o protetor perfeito para o dia a dia, com rápida absorção e com uma ótima hidratação (um mix de protetor químico com mineral).
O “All Green Comfort” é um protetor solar mineral, isto é, é à base de ingredientes minerais - como óxido de zinco e óxido de titânio. Reflete os raios de sol como um espelho, protegendo assim a pele exposta. Foi uma das minhas partes favoritas no livro de que tanto se fala — “The Skincare Bible”, a autora explica ao detalhe a diferença entre protetor mineral e químico, bem como aprofunda a importância de utilizar sempre (sem desculpas)!
É mais indicado para peles sensíveis e deixa um toque matte na pele.

This post is not only about sun protection, but I want to put a special emphasis on these COSRX new sun care. My previous face sunscreen was from the same brand, the Aloe Soothing Sun Cream - the perfect day-to-day sunscreen, with fast absorption and great hydration (a chemical mix with mineral sunscreen).
The "All Green Comfort" is a mineral sunscreen, which means it is based on mineral ingredients - such as zinc oxide and titanium oxide. It was one of my favorite parts of the much-talked-about book: "The Skincare Bible", the author explains the difference between mineral and chemical sunscreen in detail, and deepens the importance of always wearing (no excuses)! The "all green comfort" is most suitable for sensitive skin and leaves a matte touch on the skin.
Mineral (or physical) sunscreen reflect sun's rays like a mirror.
Têm fragrâncias distintas (o verde cheira mais a “verde” e o amarelo não tanto), mas ambas suaves. Entre os claims feitos pela marca, está o “no white cast”, o que, infelizmente, não é 100% verdade. Ainda assim, isso não me impede de gostar realmente deles, e de os usar regularmente. Não deixam a pele branca, mas por vezes pode notar-se um pouco. Uso imenso com ou sem maquilhagem, e portam-se lindamente. O amarelo, “Snail Essence”, é o meu favorito.
Ao contrário do verde, este é um protetor solar químico, o que significa que usa uma combinação destes dois a seis ingredientes: oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, and octinoxate. Os protetores químicos absorvem raios numa reação química que dissipa o calor da pele.
Este é mais hidratante e confortável, a meu ver. A Cosrx é cruelty-free, mas estes protetores contêm “snail secretation”, o que faz com que não sejam produtos vegan. Podem ser usados em qualquer parte do corpo, mas dou preferência por usá-los no rosto. Tenho a certeza que peles secas vão adorar o amarelo — no meu caso, que tenho pele mista e tendência a acne, não tive nenhuma reação negativa. O verde será mais indicado para pele oleosa. Gosto de ambos (apesar de achar o amarelo mais confortável na minha pele), mas continuo a preferir o Aloe Soothing Sun Cream!

They have distinct fragrances (the green smells more "green" and the yellow not so much), but both are soft scents. Among the claims made by the brand, there is the "no white cast", which, unfortunately, is not 100% true. Still, that does not stop me from really liking them, and from using them regularly. They do not leave the skin white, but sometimes it can be noticed a little. They work great with or without make-up, and behave beautifully. The yellow, "Snail Essence", is my favorite.
Unlike the green, this is a chemical sunscreen, which means it uses a combination of these two to six ingredients: oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, and octinoxate. A chemical shields absorbs rays in a chemical reaction that dissipates heat from the skin.
This one (the yellow) is more moisturizing and comfortable, in my opinion. Cosrx is cruelty-free, but these sunscreens contain "snail secretion", which means they are not vegan products. They can be used anywhere on the skin, but I prefer to use them on the face. I am sure dry skin will love the yellow - in my case, I have combination acne-prone skin and I had no negative reaction. The green will be more suitable for oily skin. I like both (although I find the yellow more comfortable on my skin), but I still prefer the Aloe Soothing Sun Cream!

Agora a parte mais “deliciosa” do post — esta máscara de argila cor-de-rosa! Pretty, right? Não foi só a cor que me deixou conquistar, foi também as suas características: remover células mortas, eliminar sebo dos poros e iluminar o tom da pele. Ou seja, esta pink clay mask francesa (a argila é de França, a Skin&Lab é sul-coreana!) promete limpar e hidratar. Check! Sempre que a aplico fico com a pele incrivelmente suave e limpa. O mais impressionante é a hidratação, parece que se funde com a pele. Estou completamente rendida.

Now the most "delicious" part of the post - this pink clay mask! Pretty, right? It was not only the color that seduced me, it was also its characteristics: remove dead cells, eliminate sebum from the pores and brighten skin's tone. In a few words, this pink French clay mask (the clay is from France, Skin & Lab is South Korean!) promises to clean and moisturize. Check! Whenever I apply it, my skin becomes incredibly soft and clean. The most impressive part is the hydration, it seems to merge with the skin. I'm completely surrendered.

French pink clay eliminates dead skin cells and sebum in the pores and on the skin smoothly. Tightens the pores and the pink flower complex brightens the dull and dark skin tone brightly. Calamine and broccoli extract soothe the stimulated skin quickly while plant oil protects the skin moistly.
O último produto do qual quero falar, é este serum igualmente cor-de-rosa (such a cutie). Tal como o nome indica, é um serum com propriedades hidratantes e “brightening”. Contém ácido hialurônico e é uma maravilha para a pele. Costumo utilizar o Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 da The Ordinary, mas este roubou o meu coração (é claro que existe a diferença de preço). É um serum extremamente hidratante e confortável na pele — perfeito para quem (como eu) precisa de um boost de hidratação. Plus, o package é de vidro e tem um pump maravilhoso.

The last product I want to talk about, is this also pink serum (such a cutie). As the name implies, it is a serum with moisturizing and brightening properties.
