Revolution X Soph Extra Spice / A Vegan Palette

Este ano trouxe muito mais skincare do que makeup para o blog (o que não é de todo mau), mas quero continuar a trazer maquilhagem, afinal de contas é, e continuará a ser um grande interesse meu. Trazer uma review desta paleta é a forma perfeita de terminar o ano! É a segunda paleta de sombras da Soph com a Revolution — a Extra Spice. A Revolution é cruelty-free e, felizmente, grande parte dos seus produtos são vegan (é o caso desta paleta).

✨A Soph é uma youtuber britânica (Sophdoesnails) e, em parceria com a Revolution lançaram alguns produtos de maquilhagem. Entre eles estão esta paleta, outra paleta de sombras, uma de iluminadores, e três batons.

Comprei a Extra Spice em setembro, mas, em abril já tinha também comprado a paleta de iluminadores, que mencionei muito brevemente neste post. Quanto à primeira paleta de sombras, achei-a muito bonita, mas não senti aquele click “I need it!”. Assim que vi esta não tive dúvidas — os tons quentes seduziram-me por completo, e fiquei extremamente entusiasmada com a variedade de cores. Além disso, adorei o packaging, bem mais do que o da primeira: o espelho, a organização das sombras, o facto de estarem devidamente identificadas, e as cores nude e rose gold da embalagem. E, ao contrário da paleta de iluminadores, o material da embalagem não parece tão frágil, e é bem mais fácil de abrir/fechar.

É uma paleta extremamente bem conseguida, por um preço tão baixo.

This year I brought a lot more skincare than makeup to the blog (which is not at all bad), but I want to continue to bring makeup, after all is, and will continue to be a great interest of mine. Reviewing this palette is the perfect way to end the year! It's Soph's second eyeshadow palette with Revolution - the Extra Spice.

Soph is a British youtuber (Sophdoesnails) and in partnership with Revolution launched some make-up products. Among them are this palette, other eyeshadow palette, a highlighter palette, and three lipsticks.

I bought Extra Spice in September, but by April I had also bought the highlighter palette, which I mentioned very briefly in this post. As for the first palette, I found it very beautiful, but I did not feel that "I need it!" click. As soon as I saw this one I had no doubts - the warm tones seduced me completely, and I was extremely enthusiastic about the variety of colors. In addition, I loved the packaging, much more than the first one: the mirror, the organization of the eyeshadows, the fact that they are properly identified, and the nude and rose gold colors of the packaging. Unlike the highlighter palette, the packaging material does not look and feel as fragile, and is much easier to open/close.

It's an extremely well-made palette, for such a low price.

São 18 sombras no total, um mix de sombras shimmery e sombras matte.

Na primeira fila está uma das sombras que mais me seduziu quando vi a paleta pela primeira vez — a Infinity, um prateado metálico lindíssimo que eu não tinha em nenhuma outra paleta ou sombra individual. É também nesta fila que estão os dois castanhos matte que mais uso, para além do Chocolate Orange da terceira fila. / They are 18 shadows in total, a mix of shimmery and matte eyeshadows. In the first row there's one of the shadows that most seduced me when I saw the palette for the first time - Infinity, a beautiful metallic silver that I had in no other palette or individual shadow. It is also in this row that are the two matte browns that I wear the most in addition to the Orange Chocolate of the third row.

Já experimentei vários produtos da marca, mas quanto a paletas de sombras, esta é apenas a segunda (a primeira foi uma das I Heart Chocolate). Noto uma diferença enorme na qualidade, as sombras são cremosas e muito fáceis de trabalhar. Com mínimo fall out, é possível criar 1001 looks diferentes com esta paleta.

Esta segunda fila tem outra das sombras que mais queria na minha coleção — a Vitamin C, um amarelo lindo que, confesso, não é a sombra mais pigmentada, mas é perfeita para fazer transições. Já o laranja — Sweet N Sour, é fantástico, como as restantes sombras matte. A Romance é a minha sombra shimmery favorita — é um burgundy rosado lindíssimo!

I have tried several Revolution products, but as for eyeshadow palettes, this is only the second (the first was one of the I Heart Chocolate palettes). I notice a huge difference in quality, the shadows are creamy and very easy to work with. With minimal fall out, you can create 1001 different looks with this palette.

This second row has another of the shadows I wanted the most in my collection - Vitamin C, a beautiful yellow that, I confess, is not the most pigmented shade, but is perfect for transitions. As for the orange - Sweet N Sour, it's fantastic, like the remaining matte shadows. Romance is my favorite shimmery shade - it's a gorgeous rosy burgundy!

As sombras shimmery são muito cremosas, mas sinto que consigo obter uma melhor pigmentação se aplicar com o dedo, em vez de aplicar com pincel. É nesta fila onde se encontra o meu castanho favorito anteriormente mencionado — o Chocolate Orange. Um castanho quente matte perfeito, que uso frequentemente em toda a pálpebra e côncavo. É lindo!

Em baixo deixo um exemplo de uma maquilhagem feita com esta paleta. Um look que faço frequentemente, quase que por acidente, por existirem cores que eu tanto gosto e repito. Não sei dizer ao certo quais os tons usados, mas sei que usei os castanhos quase todos, o Chocolate Orange como sombra de transição, o Romance no centro da pálpebra, e o Everyday para iluminador o cantinho interior.

É a paleta perfeita para quem gosta de tons quentes! A qualidade não desilude.

The shimmery shadows are very creamy, but I feel that I get better pigmentation if I apply them with my fingers, instead of with a brush. It is in this last row where you will find my favorite brown previously mentioned - Chocolate Orange. A perfect matte brown, which I often use across the eyelid and crease. It's beautiful!

Above there's an example of a make-up I did with this palette. A look I often do, almost by accident, because there are colors that I both like and repeat a lot. I do not know for sure which shades I used, but I know I used almost all browns, Chocolate Orange as a transition shadow, Romance in the center of the eyelid, and Everyday to illuminate the inner corner.

It's the perfect palette for those who like warm tones! The quality does not disappoint.
