Na correria do dia a dia acho importante ter produtos práticos “à mão”, especialmente quando se trata de skincare (ainda que não dispense perder o tempo necessário quando chega a hora de limpar, tratar, e hidratar a pele). É precisamente o que sinto com este cleansing stick da Neogen — é um produto prático e fácil de utilizar para limpar o rosto.

In my daily life I find it important to have practical products, especially when it comes to skincare (although I always value my time when it comes to clean, treat, and moisturize the skin). It is precisely what I feel with this cleansing stick from Neogen — it is a practical and easy to use product to cleanse the face.

A marca descreve o cleansing stick como sendo formulado com ingredientes de origem natural, embebido com verdadeiras folhas de chá-verde esmagadas que produzem uma experiência de esfoliação suave. Limpa a pele, remove impurezas, maquilhagem, e promete deixar uma sensação refrescante e hidratante no rosto.

A embalagem é simples e prática. Basta rodar em baixo, e o stick sobe.

"Gently massage product over damp face in a circular motion. Wet fingertips and lightly massage over face and neck to create a lather and cleanse the face. Rinse off with lukewarm water."

Até experimentar o cleansing stick da Neogen, confesso que nunca tinha utilizado nenhum produto de limpeza idêntico, com exceção dos sabonetes sólidos em barra. Comparando, é sem dúvida muito mais prático e menos messy. É perfeito para viajar, ou apenas para facilitar o processo de limpeza.

Contextualizando um pouco, a minha pele é mista. Tenho acne, e existem determinadas zonas do meu rosto com tendência a uma maior desidratação. Este cleansing stick permite-me uma limpeza suave e refrescante, perfeita para lavar o rosto ao acordar, ou para utilizar na hora de desmaquilhar. Costumo passar no rosto e, de seguida, lavo em movimentos circulares com água (faz um pouco espuma). Não fico com a pele hidratada, mas também não fica seca. Isto é, não desidrata, nem deixa uma sensação de repuxar. No fundo, é um sabonete em stick perfeito para lavar o rosto e fazer uma esfoliação mínima, graças às folhas de chá-verde, sem agredir a pele.

Until I tried out Neogen's cleansing stick, I confess I had never used any identical cleansers except for solid bar soaps. Comparing, it is arguably much more practical and less messy. It is perfect for traveling, or just to make the cleansing process easier.

Contextualizing a bit, my skin is combination type. I have acne, and there are certain areas of my face that are prone to dehydration. This cleansing stick allows me a gentle and refreshing cleansing, perfect for washing the face upon waking, or to use when removing makeup. I usually place it on the face and then wash in circular motions with water (it makes a bit of foam). I don't think my skin get moisturized from it, but it also does not get dry. Overall, it is a perfect stick soap to wash your face and do a minimal exfoliation, thanks to the green tea leaves, without harming the skin.

In my adventure and discovery of Korean beauty and skincare products, I have mentioned Neogen several times before.
